This is a charge controller for 12/24V batteries with the research of the maximum MPPT point of the PV module. You can install also PV modules for on grid applications or amorphous silicon type. This solar charge regulator has a research circuit for maximum PV module power (MPPT): regardless of the battery voltage and its charge status, it makes the PV module work at its maximum power point, maximizing the energy that comes from the module and then loading into the battery.
